Snow Leopard, Bear, and Pack of Wolves. Unique Footage from the "Khan-Teniri" Nature Park
New exciting photos of wild animals in their natural habitat have been obtained in the State Natural Park "Khan-Teniri," as reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialists set up a camera trap in May 2025, and in December it recorded numerous representatives of the fauna, including a bear, snow leopard, lynx, mountain goats, hares, and a pack of wolves.
This natural park is located in the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region, on the border of the Kungey and Teskey Ala-Too ranges, and includes four areas: Aydyr-Tor, Sary-Jaz, Enilchek, and Kainy.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of preserving wildlife and protecting rare animals such as the snow leopard and lynx, highlighting that the use of camera traps is an effective way to monitor and protect fauna.
