The snow leopard caught in Kemine has been released into the wild. Photos and videos
As previously reported in sources, on the night of December 30, the snow leopard entered the property of one of the residents of Boroldoy in the Kemin district. After its capture, the animal was temporarily placed in a wildlife rehabilitation center operated by the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU) at the Saylyu-Terek pasture located in the Chui region.
“The animal underwent all necessary veterinary and biological examinations with the participation of specialists. It is aged between 3 and 4 years, weighs 42.7 kg, and reaches a length of about 2 meters,” the official statement noted.
