A man was fined in the Bazar-Korgon district for illegally keeping birds in a cage.

In the Bazar-Korgon district, employees of the Jalal-Abad Environmental Supervision Department discovered the illegal keeping and storage of birds by a citizen.

According to information provided by the environmental supervision, the man was fined 10,000 soms in accordance with Article 261 of the Code of Offenses, which pertains to illegal hunting and the capture of animals.

The birds that were held in captivity were released and returned to their natural habitat.
