According to information published by The Times, the newly elected Supreme Leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, may be in a state of unconsciousness. This data was provided by American and Israeli intelligence agencies.
Sources indicate that Khamenei is receiving treatment in the city of Qom, where his condition is assessed as serious. The reports mention that he is unable to participate in any decision-making.

Qom, located about 130 kilometers from Tehran, is considered a holy site for Shiites. A mausoleum for Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba's father, who was killed at the beginning of the war, is also planned to be built in this city.

Previously, The New York Times reported that Mojtaba Khamenei sustained injuries to his legs. Later, the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed the information about his injuries but stated that he "feels well."

It is worth noting that since his election as the new Supreme Leader, Khamenei has not appeared in public.
