According to information provided by the police, a person identified as Ch. K. appealed to the Internal Affairs Department requesting action against M. B.
The investigation established that on April 20, 2025, the man, having gained trust, took possession of a BMW 540I worth $40,000 under the pretext of purchasing it on credit, paying only $5,000 as a down payment.
However, as reported by the complainant, the suspect sold the vehicle to third parties without paying the remaining $35,000 and ceased communication.
A man has been detained in Bishkek on suspicion of fraud involving a BMW.
In connection with this incident, the investigative authorities of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktobersky District initiated a criminal case under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
As a result of operational measures, M. B., born in 1993, was identified and detained. He was taken to the investigative service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
