Reason for the incident — debt obligations
According to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Sverdlovsk District of Bishkek, a suspect has been detained in connection with a video recording showing a man chained.
A video appeared earlier on social media where rescuers are seen using a grinder to cut the chain. The author of this video claimed that it was done by the victim's wife.
The incident has been registered in accordance with Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the cause of the incident was a monetary debt.
As a result of investigative activities, a citizen identified as I.U., born in 1971, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
