It is reported that as part of operational and preventive measures called "Extremist," employees of the internal affairs management, engaged in the fight against extremism and illegal migration, conducted a series of operations.
As a result of these actions, a group residing in the Kara-Suu district and in the city of Osh itself was identified, suspected of extremist activities.
To curb their suspicious actions, searches were conducted in four residential houses.
During the searches, items raising suspicions were seized from the homes of the following citizens:
- From a resident of the Kara-Suu district of Osh region, G.A. (born in 1993): 1 mobile phone, 19 DVD discs, 8 leaflets;
- From a resident of the city of Osh, I.A. (born in 2000): 4 mobile phones, 2 laptops, 3 knives, 1 brass knuckles, 4 leaflets;
- From a resident of the city of Osh, Y.A. (born in 1991): 3 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 10 leaflets;
- From a resident of the Kara-Suu district of Osh region, D.M. (born in 1980): 2 mobile phones, 8 leaflets.
In total, the following items were seized: 8 mobile phones, 3 laptops, 19 DVD discs, 30 leaflets, 3 knives, and 1 brass knuckles.
The suspects were taken in for questioning, and the physical evidence was sent for forensic examinations.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
