The suspect in fraud has been detained
In Bishkek, a woman suspected of fraud involving more than 4 million soms has been arrested, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department.
According to information from the department, citizen S.B. filed an official complaint with the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department regarding fraud committed by citizen D.S.
The complainant stated that in June 2025, D.S., under the pretext of selling gold items allegedly brought from Turkey, managed to take possession of 4,129,300 soms and then disappeared.
As a result of this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained D.S. has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department.
Police officers urge citizens to exercise caution when conducting transactions involving money and valuable items, especially when it comes to significant amounts.
