User @alihan.db published a video from the scene of the incident on social media. The information about the incident was confirmed by the inspector of the press service of the UPSM, Nadyrbek Jusupbekov.
According to him, the cement truck with a trailer was moving north and was making a left turn. At that moment, the passenger car, traveling at high speed in the southern direction, crashed into the truck.
Preliminary data indicates that as a result of the collision, one person died, and four others in the "Camry" were injured.
The press service provided additional details about the incident. The accident occurred at approximately 10:40 PM near building No. 2/12 on Valikhanov Street. The driver of the "Nanvan" cement truck was a 67-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the passenger car, who was about 20-25 years old, died. Four of his passengers were hospitalized.
