False information appeared on social media
The Public Security Service of Bishkek has denied reports that a child died as a result of a traffic accident. This information was officially announced by representatives of the agency.
Rumors began to spread on the WhatsApp messenger that a tragic incident involving a minor occurred in the capital. Later, some sources claimed that the accident took place in Kazakhstan.
According to police data, on March 22, 2026, at the intersection of Frunze and Kahovskaya streets, driver O.Zh.M., born in 1985, hit minor K.u.A., born in 2010, who was crossing the road.
The child was urgently hospitalized in Children's Hospital No. 3 with serious injuries, including a closed fracture of the shoulder. Medical staff provided the necessary assistance, and the patient's condition is now deemed stable.
The Public Security Service urged citizens to avoid spreading unverified information and to rely on official data.
