The investigative authorities established that from 2022 to 2023, some officials, abusing their powers, illegally transferred plots with a total area of 2.35 hectares into private ownership of citizens. These actions were carried out bypassing official applications and the established queue, which contradicts official interests.
In connection with the identified facts, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning abuse of official position. Currently, necessary investigative measures are being conducted.
Corruption issues in the distribution of land resources remain relevant for many regions of Kyrgyzstan.
