A suspect in the theft of parts from electrical substations has been detained in the city of Osh
In Osh, local law enforcement agencies have detained a man suspected of stealing parts from electrical substations. This information was announced by the press service of the city's internal affairs department.

According to police information, a complaint was received by the "Ak-Buura" department from one of the enterprises engaged in electrical networks. The statement indicated that on February 27, between 11:00 and 12:00, an unidentified person broke into the substation TP-214 on Razzakov Street and stole 12 fuses with a capacity of 400 amperes.

On the same day, another theft occurred at the substation TP-3, located on Salieva Street, where nine fuses of the PN-2 type, also with a capacity of 400 amperes, were stolen.


On March 14, during operational-search activities, the police detained a 30-year-old man named U.N., a native of Sulyukta in the Batken region, born in 1995.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the detainee confessed to the thefts, explaining his actions by the intention to sell the stolen parts at scrap metal collection points. At the time of his arrest, some of the stolen items were found in his bag, which he had not yet managed to sell.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the article "Theft." The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. It is also noted that he had previously been convicted of robbery.
