“He is suspected of intending to leave the country to join international terrorist organizations. The operation to detain him was carried out in cooperation with other special services. Necessary investigative actions are ongoing within the framework of the criminal case. The GKNB reminds citizens of the criminal liability for supporting foreign terrorist and extremist groups,” the press release states.
