The Bekeiev family, as well as the lawyer of the suspect in a large-scale fraud case, have appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and law enforcement agencies to investigate whether former employees of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) were involved in the criminal case against Adilet Bekeiev.

At a press conference held on March 12 at AKIpress, lawyer Nurlan Toktaliev stated that his client and his family are convinced of direct interference by former GKNB employees in this case.

Adilet's sister, Elnura Bekeiev, reported that Adilet was engaged in the transportation of cars. He contacted a certain A. through the Lalafo app and arranged for the delivery of 8 cars from Kazakhstan. On January 11, 2026, Adilet brought these cars to Kyrgyzstan, where he was met by a group of people. One of them, named R., took the keys and documents for the cars from him. After that, Bekeiev went home, and the next day, when he returned to the unloading site, he discovered that 4 cars were missing.

Immediately after this, he called the police to report the theft. On January 15, he and three other individuals were summoned for questioning, and on February 15, he was charged with "large-scale fraud."

Elnura also noted that according to her brother, during the interrogation, two suspects were taken away by GKNB employees. "My brother said that upon seeing in the news about the detention of a GKNB employee nicknamed 'V.', he recognized him as one of those who took the case participants away during the interrogation," she added.

Adilet's father, Ernis Bekeiev, along with his daughter, sent an appeal to the president requesting to take control of the case and ensure an objective investigation.

"Every police station should have surveillance cameras. The suspect A. was also connected to the cars, but no measures are being taken against him. Initially, the report to the police was filed with the Bishkek City Police Department, but then the case was transferred to the Sverdlovsk district. The family suspects that the missing cars are not being found due to possible involvement of national security employees in this case," the lawyer added.

Currently, Adilet Bekeiev and his employer are in pre-trial detention center No. 1.

The GKNB employee, whose involvement is claimed by Bekeiev's relatives, was detained on February 21 on suspicion of corrupt activities.
