According to information from the press service of the Traffic Police Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chüy region, the incident occurred around 20:08 at the intersection of Central and Birinchi Mai streets in the village of Petrovka.
It was established that the driver of the "Mitsubishi Diamante" was 35-year-old S.D.G., who was traveling westward on the Bishkek–Osh highway (45 km). At the intersection, he struck two pedestrians who were crossing the roadway from south to north at that time.
Among the victims:
- M.A.A., born in 1980, who unfortunately did not survive and died at the scene without regaining consciousness.
- K.I.J., born in 1967, was taken to the territorial hospital of the Moscow district with injuries of varying severity.
Law enforcement officers were working at the scene of the incident. An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of what happened.
