In the Chon-Alai district, a citizen suspected of fraud has been detained. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Osh region.

According to the agency, the suspect gained the trust of local residents and deceitfully took their money, after which he disappeared. At the end of February, the Chon-Alai District Internal Affairs Department received seven complaints from victims.

The citizens reported that a certain individual named A.M. promised to assist in obtaining driver's licenses, specifically to obtain category "E." For his "services," he charged each victim amounts ranging from 60,000 to 104,000 soms, after which he stopped communicating.

To obtain category "E" licenses (BE, CE, DE) in Kyrgyzstan, one must have at least one year of driving experience in the main category, undergo mandatory training at a driving school, and successfully pass a practical exam at the GOU "Unaa" driving range. Enrollment in courses is possible online, and the required documents include a passport, valid driver's license, medical certificate 083, and a photo.

Vehicle categories include: passenger car with trailer (BE), truck with trailer/tractor (CE), bus (DE).

Materials have been collected on these facts, based on which the investigative service has initiated a criminal case under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code.

As a result of operational-search activities, police officers established the whereabouts of the suspect — he turned out to be A.M., born in 1996. He is currently being brought to the investigative service for further procedural actions.

The investigation continues: operatives are checking the detainee's involvement in other similar crimes.
