The fire initially broke out in the attic of the building.
“The fire safety system worked properly. Emergency services arrived at the scene without delay. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished. The flames only affected the attic. All documents, including archival ones, remained in perfect order. Work areas and equipment were not damaged. There were no injuries,” the institution's press service noted.
We remind you that on the evening of March 6, a fire occurred in the customs administration building. Three fire crews and two aerial ladders were involved in extinguishing the flames.
