The suspect O.N. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility
During operational activities called "Arsenal" in the Chuy region, a man suspected of illegal activities related to drug trafficking, weapons, and hunting was detained. This was reported by the press service of the regional police department.
According to law enforcement agencies, a search was conducted in the home of citizen O.N., born in 1974, in the village of Shabdan in the Kemin district. This action was made possible due to operational information received in the framework of a criminal case.
During the search, law enforcement officers found and seized a smoothbore firearm of the "IZH" model, 12 gauge, with ammunition, as well as cartridges for a rifled weapon of unknown caliber, the head of a wild goat, skins of a wild boar, two carcasses of wild pheasants, and one carcass of a chukar.
A narcotic substance — cannabis, with a total weight of about 1.5 kg — was also found in the attic of the house.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under articles related to "illegal trafficking of weapons and ammunition," "illegal production of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale," as well as "illegal hunting or fishing of aquatic animals" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
