A citizen approached law enforcement with a request to intervene in a situation involving a young man who claimed to be the son of a high-ranking police officer. In exchange for 20,000 soms, he promised to help recover lost money, but ultimately only provided deception.
This incident was recorded in accordance with Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detained individual was identified as I.U., born in 1997. During the investigation, it was revealed that his parents have no connections to law enforcement agencies. An electronic bracelet was applied to the detainee.
