In Chui Region, a foreign citizen fined 55,000 soms for traffic violations
The press service of the Traffic Safety Department (UOBDD) of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Chui Region reported that a protocol was drawn up against the violator, and appropriate measures were taken in accordance with current legislation. The official report indicated that the driver committed several offenses:
- driving a vehicle with illegally tinted windows;
- driving without a driver's license;
- crossing into the oncoming lane;
- running a red traffic light.
Based on the aforementioned facts, the necessary administrative materials were prepared.
Earlier, on February 25, 2026, traffic police officers from the Sokuluk District were conducting official activities on the Bishkek—Osh highway. At around 08:30 at the intersection of Frunze and Lenin streets in the village of Sokuluk, a Hyundai Sonata vehicle traveling east with tinted front side windows was stopped.
Upon checking the driver's identity, it turned out that the driver was a citizen of another country, E.R., born in 1988. During the inspection, it was revealed that he did not have a driver's license and could not provide documents allowing the use of tinting on the front side windows of the vehicle.
