In Sokuluk, a foreigner was detained while driving a tinted foreign car without documents.
On February 25, 2026, employees of the Road Safety Department of the Sokuluk district police were patrolling the Bishkek-Osh highway. At around 08:30, they stopped a "Hyundai Sonata" that was traveling east at the intersection of Frunze and Lenin streets in the village of Sokuluk due to its tinted front side windows.
During the document check, the driver, a foreign citizen born in 1988 identified as E.R., was found to be without a driver's license. Additionally, he was unable to provide documents allowing the use of tinting.
Based on the above facts, administrative protocols were drawn up in accordance with the Code of Offenses:
Article 184 (Driving a vehicle without a driver's license);
Article 194, part 3 (Illegal operation of a vehicle with tinted windows).
The vehicle was placed in a specialized impound lot.
