This incident was registered with the police department of the Kadamjay district. During the investigation, it was revealed that a 43-year-old man, A. U., a resident of the village of Pum, had taken the bolt from the hunter's rifled firearm.
A. U. demanded 30,000 soms for the return of the part and threatened to contact government authorities if the hunter refused to pay.
As a result of the conducted operational-search activities, officers of the Uch-Korgon police department were able to detain the suspect, A. U.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 208 ("Extortion") of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
