According to available information, a citizen identified as R.U. approached law enforcement, reporting that on February 8, 2026, he became a victim of a scammer. The man posted an advertisement for renting an apartment on the "Lalafo" app and, after communicating with him, transferred 12,000 soms as a deposit. This amount was sent via the payment system "Bionex," after which the scammer stopped responding.
Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. During operational activities, the suspect was detained — a citizen identified as S.Ch., born in 1987. He is currently being held in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs.
