Detained on suspicion of illegal drug trafficking
From March 2 to 7, a special operation was conducted in the Batken region, resulting in the disruption of a criminal group involved in the distribution of hashish. This information was provided by the press service of the Batken Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
During the operation, named "Den," two local residents were detained in Kyzyl-Kyia: 21-year-old A.B. and 22-year-old D.A.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the detainees under the article concerning the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspects have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
