According to the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Chuy region, the tragedy happened on March 2 of this year at around 19:10 on the 58th kilometer of the mentioned road, near the recreation area "Hawaii," when a car struck a pedestrian, leading to his death.
“An investigative operational group from the Chuy district internal affairs department was dispatched to the scene of the accident,” the press service reported.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the driver, I. A. R., born in 1989, was operating a Toyota Windom vehicle traveling from west to east. At that moment, he hit the pedestrian K. S. M., born in 1964, who was crossing the road from north to south. Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene of the incident,” the official statement reads.
