An earthquake has been registered in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic through the Institute of Seismology.
According to seismologists, the tremors were recorded on the evening of March 2 at 18:44 local time, and their magnitude at the epicenter was 3.5 on the Richter scale.
Location of the epicenter:
- 3 km southwest of Kok-Bel;
- 17 km southwest of Ketmen-Tobo;
- 20 km northeast of Kara-Kul;
- 22 km south of Toktogul.
Intensity of sensations in populated areas:
- in Kok-Bel — about 3.5;
- in Kara-Kul and Ketmen-Tobo — 3.
According to preliminary data, there are no reports of casualties or destruction.
