As of this morning, an earthquake occurred at the border between Kyrgyzstan and China, as reported by the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to seismologists, tremors were recorded at 05:44 local time, with a magnitude of 3 on the 12-point MSK-64 scale at the epicenter.
The epicenter of seismic activity was located:
- 34 km southeast of the village of Tash-Koroo;
- 119 km southeast of the city of Karakol.
