At the session of the Pervomaisky District Court in Bishkek, held on February 27, a decision was made to detain Chyngyz Tokoldoshev, who previously held the position of head of the Balykchy Department of Internal Affairs. The court established that he will remain in pre-trial detention until April 15, as reported by the court's press service.

The investigation into the case is ongoing; according to available information, the police colonel is suspected of corrupt activities, which are classified under Article 336, Part 1 "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
