According to the Jalal-Abad regional emergency management office, the report of the fire was received on February 25, 2026. The fire broke out at the 423rd kilometer of the road, in the Kyzyl-Beyit area.
A fire crew from Kara-Kul was dispatched to the scene, and by 19:20, the fire was localized. At the time of the fire, a man was in the cabin of the fuel tanker, who unfortunately could not escape.
Currently, efforts are underway to identify the deceased. Experts at the scene are working to determine the cause of the fire.
