The incident occurred on February 23 in the Ozyornoye area, when around six in the morning, a group of unknown individuals attacked a young man and took his phone. They then forced him to record a video in which he allegedly confessed to committing crimes, in order to mislead the public.
This incident has been classified as robbery under Article 206 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement agencies of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs and the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs detained a group of suspects: R.M. (born in 1999), S.T. and S.S. (both born in 2007), A.R. (born in 2006), K.K. (born in 1998), and N.N. (born in 2004). All of them were placed in a temporary detention facility.
Further investigation is currently underway.
