In Bishkek, a suspect was detained in a fraud case involving the sale of an apartment on Toktonalieva Street.
According to the Department of Internal Affairs, the applicant A.G., acting by power of attorney, is requesting measures to be taken against the chairman of the board of one of the joint-stock companies, T.D.
“According to the gathered information, on January 15, 2021, he deceitfully sold an apartment to third parties, located on Toktonalieva Street in Bishkek. As a result of the suspect's actions, the victim R.T. suffered damages exceeding 3 million soms,” the statement says.
A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under Article 209 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, the police detained A.M., born in 1989, who is suspected of being involved in this crime. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek. Investigative actions are ongoing.
