The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan has stopped the activities of a foreign citizen who supported radical religious ideology and planned to create underground cells by recruiting local youth.
According to information from the SCNS, this individual has been expelled from the country and banned from re-entering Kyrgyzstan for a long period.
The SCNS urges foreign citizens to respect the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasizing that missionary activities on the territory of the country, including religious preaching through mass media, social networks, and mobile applications, are prohibited without registration with the relevant authorities.
It is also noted that non-compliance with legislation in the field of religion may result in criminal and administrative liability.
