Yesterday's strong winds that swept through Bishkek, Chui, and Talas regions caused damage to 16 residential houses, 5 multi-story buildings, and 5 schools. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Additionally, 2 enterprises, 2 kindergartens, 1 village administration building, 1 guard's house, 6 sheds, 1 awning, and the wall of one of the residential buildings were also affected. The damage also impacted 2 cars, 1 electric pole, and caused 4 trees to fall.
In Bishkek itself, damage was recorded to 7 residential and 5 multi-story buildings, 2 schools, 1 kindergarten, 2 enterprises, and 2 cars. Furthermore, fallen trees led to the disruption of electrical wires.
As for the Chui region, 2 residential houses, 3 schools, 1 village administration building, 1 kindergarten, 5 sheds, and 1 wall were damaged, and 2 trees also fell.
In the Aitmatov district of the Talas region, the wind damaged 7 residential houses, 1 guard's house, 1 shed, 1 awning, and 1 electric pole.
It should be noted that yesterday in Bishkek and the Chui region, a storm wind with a speed of 15–20 meters per second was observed, which caused trees to fall, roofs to be damaged, and power outages.
