The man, while on A. Tokombaev Street, convinced his victim that he was the son of a high-ranking official in the law enforcement agencies and offered his assistance in recovering funds. As a result of the deception, he took 20,500 soms and fled the scene.
During operational search activities, the suspect was identified and detained; he turned out to be I.U., born in 1997. He was taken to the investigative service for further proceedings.
Preventive measures were applied to I.U. in the form of electronic monitoring using an electronic bracelet.
