Employees of the tax service stopped the illegal transportation of tobacco products in the village of Birlik, located in the Issyk-Ata district. This was reported in a press release from the agency.
During the raid, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle was found transferring cigarettes to another vehicle. Upon inspection, it was revealed that it contained 21,900 packs of cigarettes of the ORIS and ZUMERRET brands, lacking excise stamps.
Based on this incident, official reports were drawn up. Procedural measures are currently being considered in accordance with the legislation.
The vehicle has been placed in a specialized impound lot until all circumstances of the case are clarified.
