The deputy called on the GKNB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to check posts of a destructive nature on social networks.

During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh on February 18, Deputy Kamila Talieva expressed concern about the numerous destructive materials appearing on social media. She noted that such publications can provoke conflicts and are the result of commissioned revenge.

Talieva urged the new head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take measures to control this situation.
“There are many commissioned publications from candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh who are in opposition to each other. A lot of unreliable information is emerging. A proper analysis needs to be conducted. In addition, there are also dubious materials about the work of the GKNB coming from destructive forces. Urgent intervention is required,” she emphasized, addressing Shabdanbekov.

It is worth noting that on the morning of the same day, the parliament approved Shabdanbekov's candidacy for the position of head of the GKNB.
