The incident occurred on December 9, 2025, when a young man approached the police. He reported that the day after spending time with a friend and two girls at a hotel on Krasnaya Street, strangers broke into their room. The complainant was beaten, his mobile phone was taken, and he was forced to transfer 6,700 soms to an electronic wallet.
A criminal case was opened in connection with this incident under Article 207 ("Robbery") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On February 4, law enforcement agencies reported the detention of the first suspect. Soon after, another person, T.J., born in 2007, was arrested and placed in custody.
The investigation believes that the stolen phone was sold for 10,000 soms, and the money received was spent.
