According to the press service, during the raids, more than 70 people engaged in providing intimate services were detained. Preventive talks and explanations were conducted with those detained.
As a result of the event, more than 30 administrative protocols were drawn up under Article 109 ("Engaging in Prostitution") of the Code of Offenses. Each violator was fined 20,000 soms, totaling approximately 600,000 soms.
Representatives of the GUVD reported that similar raids will continue.
