Raid 'Prostitution' in Bishkek: protocols were drawn up against sex workers
On February 4th, a raid organized by the local administration in cooperation with the police and the tax service took place in the Sverdlovsk district of Bishkek. The event was held as part of the Law "On the Prevention of Offenses".

The main goal of the operation was to identify individuals engaged in providing intimate services, as well as to enhance public safety.

According to the local administration, several preventive explanations were provided during the raid, and three administrative protocols were drawn up under Article 109-2 of the Code of Offenses.

According to the legislation, engaging in prostitution can lead to a fine of 200 calculation indicators (equivalent to 20,000 soms) or administrative arrest for a period of three to seven days.

The city hall emphasized that similar raids will continue during nighttime, from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Authorities, together with law enforcement agencies, intend to continue their work to identify and curb the activities of brothels.
