According to the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, there are currently 18 individuals associated with organized crime registered at the Karakol City Department of Internal Affairs.
On February 13, as a result of activities aimed at preventing criminal activity by these individuals, members of the organized criminal group were taken to the city police department of Karakol for educational work.
Additionally, during raids based on received operational information, searches were conducted in the homes of individuals registered as members of organized crime groups, following a ruling by the Karakol City Court.
During a search conducted at the residence of 44-year-old A.A., living in the village of Tash-Kiya, the following items were found:
- Rifled weapon "SKS" caliber 7.62 mm;
- Rifled weapon "TOZ-8";
- 39 cartridges of caliber 5.45 mm;
- 27 cartridges of caliber 7.62 mm;
- Pistol of unknown make with two boxes of cartridges;
- 15 rubber bullets of unknown caliber;
- 4 cartridges for the "TOZ-8" weapon;
- 20 cartridges for smoothbore weapons;
- Two knives.
All discovered items were seized and will be used as evidence; forensic examinations have also been appointed.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
