Eldar Jakypbekov, who previously held the position of head of the State Committee for National Security in Bishkek, has been detained. This was reported by the General Prosecutor's Office in an interview with the "Kabar" agency.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, the detention was carried out by the Military Prosecutor's Office, and investigative actions are currently underway. Additional information will be provided upon completion of these activities.
The State Committee for National Security confirmed that Eldar Jakypbekov no longer holds his previous position.
