From February 13 to 25, operational and investigative units of the police are active in the republic. The main task is to identify and neutralize the activities of organized criminal groups, detain individuals evading investigation and court, as well as discover and seize illegally stored weapons, ammunition, explosives, and drugs.
During the first two days of the operation, more than 30 people were brought to territorial units for verification of their connections with organized criminal groups. Administrative measures were applied to seven of them. Five detainees were placed in a special detention facility by the decision of the court.
In addition, during the raids, pneumatic weapons and their replicas were seized.
Police representatives note that these activities are comprehensive and aimed at improving the criminal situation in the capital, as well as ensuring the safety of citizens.
The Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital urges residents to comply with the laws and promptly report any facts of illegal activity.
