In Bishkek, as part of the "Arsenal" operation, officers of the Main Department of Internal Affairs discovered and seized 9 units of firearms, including pneumatic pistols and replicas, as well as 20 cartridges. The press service of the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs reported that over the first days of the operation, more than 1000 vehicles were checked, resulting in over 200 citizens being held administratively accountable.

The purpose of this event is to prevent the illegal storage, carrying, and use of firearms, ammunition, and explosives. The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek has initiated a set of measures focused on identifying, seizing, and suppressing the illegal circulation of weapons, as well as ensuring public safety and maintaining law and order.

Eight mobile groups of the Main Department of Internal Affairs and more than 20 employees are participating in the operation, continuing inspections and checks throughout the city.
