"‘I’ll get an iPhone cheap’: Suspect in fraud detained in Osh"
According to law enforcement agencies, during an operational and preventive measure called "Bandit," officers from the "Sulaiman-Too" police department detained a suspect in fraud. It was established that the detained individual, born in 1999, A. uulu A., is a resident of Osh and has several convictions for various crimes.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the man used a trick by promising people to "get new phones at a low price." He gained their trust, took money in advance, and then disappeared.
For instance, on January 2 of this year, he promised a resident of Bishkek, born in 1996, that he would deliver an "iPhone 17 Pro Max" within an hour, for which he took 11,000 soms, but did not fulfill his promise and vanished.
Additionally, on February 2, he deceived a resident of Osh, born in 2002, by promising to "call someone" to return the "iPhone 15 Pro," which he had temporarily borrowed from him, after which he also disappeared.
Currently, the police have received several similar complaints, and investigative actions are ongoing. A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under the article on fraud, and on February 13, he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
