According to the city police department, the detained individual is A. uulu A., born in 1999, who has previous convictions. Officers from the "Sulaiman-Too" department were able to identify and apprehend him.

According to law enforcement agencies, the suspect lured citizens into a scam by promising to sell them new mobile phones at a reduced price. After receiving a prepayment, he would disappear without fulfilling his obligations.
For instance, on January 2, he promised a resident of Bishkek, who was in Osh, to deliver an iPhone 17 Pro Max in just one hour. The man transferred him 11,000 soms, but the phone was never delivered.
Additionally, on February 2, he asked one of the residents of Osh for an iPhone 15 Pro "to make a call," after which he did not return the device and vanished. Several similar complaints have been filed with the police by victims.
Based on these facts, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. On February 13, the suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility, and investigative actions are ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies remind citizens to be vigilant and not to hand over money or valuables to unfamiliar individuals without prior verification of their reliability and intentions.
