Car fell into a ravine near "Teplie Klyuchi" — driver and 2 girls died

Three people died at the scene of a road incident near the "Teplie Klyuchi" recreation area.

According to information provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, the incident occurred on February 15, 2026, at around 15:30. The Alamedin district police received a report of a traffic accident on the Bishkek – "Teplie Klyuchi" highway.

An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, where it was determined that the driver of a Hyundai Sonata, S.B., born in 2000, lost control and drove off the roadway, falling into the Alamedin River from a cliff located 15 km along the highway.

As a result of this accident, the driver and two girls, resembling representatives of an Asian nationality, both approximately 20-25 years old, died at the scene from their injuries. Their identities are currently being established.

Additionally, one of the passengers, J.A., also born in 2000, was hospitalized with various injuries in the intensive care unit of the Chui regional hospital. The identification of the deceased is ongoing.

In connection with the incident, necessary forensic examinations have been appointed. A thorough investigation is underway to clarify all circumstances, which will allow for legal measures to be taken in accordance with current legislation.
