In Bishkek, suspects in Range Rover fraud have been detained

According to information provided by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital, Sh.B. approached the Oktyabr District Prosecutor's Office and reported an incident that occurred on September 16, 2025. He stated that two acquaintances, M.A. and T.A., gained his trust and, under the pretext of selling, took his 2019 Range Rover for a while.

However, later it is alleged that they sold the car and kept the money for themselves.

As a result of this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Suspects.
During operational-search activities, the identities of the suspects were established, and they were detained. M.A. was born in 1999, and T.A. was born in 2001. Both were taken to the investigative service and, according to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.

The investigation is ongoing.
