The operation "Bandit" in the Talas region led to the detention of a local resident, who was found to possess a suspicious substance, likely of narcotic origin. This information was provided by the press service of the regional Internal Affairs Directorate.
As part of this raid, officers from the criminal investigation department, together with the district internal affairs department, conducted checks and identified nine individuals registered as members of organized crime groups. These citizens were taken to the police station, where their fingerprints were taken, they were checked for connections to unsolved crimes, and preventive talks were held.
During a personal search of one of the detainees, a package containing a dark substance wrapped in plastic was found in the inner pocket of his jacket.
This incident has been recorded in the electronic journal of the Talas region's Internal Affairs Directorate, and a preliminary investigation is currently underway.
