In Karakol, a cache of the organized crime group Kamchy Kolbaev was found with firearms and police uniforms

In Karakol, in the settlement of Pristan-Przhevalsk, a weapons cache was discovered. This was reported by the press service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the inspection, the following items were seized on site:

a sawed-off shotgun (12 gauge, ready to fire);
a combat pistol PM (with eight rounds in the magazine);
a homemade revolver (with two rounds);
a traumatic pistol (with three rounds);
various ammunition (five rounds for 12 gauge smoothbore firearms and 26 rounds for the PM pistol);
uniforms of police officers.

According to the information from the agency, the seized items belong to members of the liquidated criminal group led by Kamchybek Asanbek (better known as Kamchy Kolbaev). The investigation is ongoing.
