According to information from the state committee, a cache of weapons was discovered in the village of Pristan-Przhevalsk, which is part of Karakol.
As a result of the inspection, the following items were seized: a sawed-off shotgun (12-gauge, loaded), a combat Makarov pistol (PM, with eight rounds), a homemade combat revolver (with two rounds), a traumatic pistol (with three rounds), as well as corresponding ammunition and uniforms of law enforcement officers (including 5 rounds for 12-gauge smoothbore firearms and 26 rounds for the PM pistol).
According to available operational information, the discovered cache belonged to members of a dismantled organized crime group led by Kamchy Asanbek, who previously used firearms to commit crimes.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and necessary examinations have been appointed.
